Job Description

Labcorp seeks a phlebotomist for its Beaumont, Texas patient service center to perform blood collections, process specimens, and provide customer service. The position operates Monday through Thursday 7:30am–5:00pm and Friday 7:30am–12:00pm.

Responsibilities

• Perform venipuncture and capillary blood collections for all age groups
• Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, and alcohol tests
• Enter patient information and process billing accurately and timely
• Prepare specimens for testing and maintain patient and specimen logs
• Provide exceptional customer service and perform administrative duties as assigned

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Phlebotomy certification or completed accredited training program
• One or more years phlebotomy experience preferred
• Ability to pass color blindness screening test
• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Reliable transportation and flexibility for overtime
