Express Employment Professionals (Athens, TX) is hiring a GMAW Structural Steel Fabricator for a trusted local employer serving Elkhart, TX and surrounding areas . If transforming drawings into strong, clean welds is your craft, we want to talk.
A day in the lifeYou’ll start by reviewing blueprints and welding symbols, setting up your welder with .035 hardwire , and dialing in parameters. Through the day you’ll run MIG (GMAW) beads across flat, horizontal, and vertical positions on structural steel, verify quality with visual checks to AWS D1.1 , and finish parts using grinders and clamps. You’ll coordinate with the team to hit production goals while keeping your station orderly and safe.
